Krishna Sesha Giri is an Associate Professor at IIT Palakkad specializing in combustion science and laser-based diagnostic techniques for practical burner systems. His research focuses on flame stability, turbulent combustion, and pollutant formation in gas turbine burners using advanced optical diagnostics such as LIF, PIV, and CARS, contributing to cleaner and more efficient energy systems.

He previously worked as a Scientist at ISRO, gaining experience in aerospace-related combustion and propulsion systems. He also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where he conducted research on combustion phenomena in gas turbine burners using advanced laser-based diagnostic methods.
