Dr. Deep Lata Singh

Co-Founder / Head of Electrocatalyst Development

Biography: Dr. Deep Lata Singh earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. She is currently associated with HySA Systems and the South African Institute for Advanced Materials Chemistry (SAIAMC) at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa, where she conducts postdoctoral research. Her research focuses on the electrocatalysis of small molecules (CO₂, N₂, and H₂O) for sustainable fuel production. As a co-founder of CarbonFuelTech, she contributes to developing a single-cell electrolyzer system for advancing clean energy technologies.

Dr Harikrishna Rajubhadran

Dr. Harikrishna Rajubhadran

Co-Founder / Technology Development Lead

Biography: Dr. Harikrishna Rajubhadran is a interdisciplinary experimental researcher passionate about the hands-on design and fabrication of innovative energy systems. Focusing on advancing materials and technologies from proof-of-concept to functional prototypes, particularly in the field of green hydrogen generation. With a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry from IIT Madras, and experience as a project Co-ordinator in The Engineering Gallery, he brings expertise in experimental testing, catalyst and device design, automation, and the integration of technologies. Committed to bridging cutting-edge research and practical engineering to create real-world solutions for a more sustainable future.

Biography: Rahul Ravindran is a co-founder of CarbonFuelTech, specializing in systems design, product engineering, and prototype development. He plays a key role in integrating mechanical, electrical, and software systems to optimize the company’s electrolyzer and automation platforms. Rahul is passionate about building efficient, scalable hardware solutions that accelerate the transition to sustainable fuel technologies.

Dr Vineet Mishra

Dr. Vineet Mishra

Co-Founder/Catalyst Designer & Electrochemist

Biography: Dr. Vineet Mishra completed his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in the field of electrocatalysis. His research focuses on the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) for fuel cells and the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) to ammonia under ambient conditions. He is deeply interested in advancing a carbon-free circular economy through the development of green ammonia technologies.

Biography: Prof. Thirumalachari Sundararajan is a distinguished academic and researcher in Mechanical Engineering with expertise in heat transfer, combustion, and energy conversion. He retired from IIT Madras after a remarkable career and currently serves as a Visiting Professor at IIT Palakkad. His research contributions span computational fluid dynamics, nanofluids, and thermal sciences, with over 12,000 citations to his work. Prof. Sundararajan has held leadership positions including Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras and has been instrumental in advancing clean energy research in India.
